Ryan + Michelle = Vintage Dodge and Beer Pong!

Ryan and Michelle are easy-going and designed their wedding day to celebrate their relaxed personalities.  Their no-fuss ceremony was held at Pioneer Orchard Park in Steilacoom, WA.  Blue skies, Puget Sound and Tacoma Narrows Bridge made an incredible backdrop to wedding vows.  Back at their own home, they celebrated their marriage with friends and family.  Bright colored candies, a full keg and beer pong made children of all ages very happy.  It was just like them - relaxed.  Everyone had a great time.

But there was a surprise that got me extremely overjoyed, as well as, the couple.  Dodge.  A shiny black 1939 Dodge.  People that know me, know how much I love old cars.  My first car was a classic car and I still find my eyes, heart and love drawn to these beautiful machines.  There is something timeless about classic cars.  Their form; their sound; their details put a smile on most people's face.  Timeless.  But old cars have their set-backs.  They come with maintenance issues, rust spots and little reliability.  But it is worth it.  Take a ride in a classic car and you get it.  Love is the same way.  Love draws us in with our eyes and heart.  The sound of our love one's voice; the details that make them amazing puts a smile on our face.  It is timeless and will always be a part of us.  But love can come with set-backs and obstacles.  BUT IT IS WORTH IT.  The benefits you have when you love and are loved is worth the maintenance.  Keep your love timeless.

Two of my favorites of the day.  Daddy and daughter.  Ryan and Michelle so happy.

Michelle is going to be an awesome step-mom.

Ryan's sister made this beautiful cake.  Oh and very yummy.
