Love Is In The Air : Campbell Family Welcomes Home Baby

When I entered the Campbell family, it was obvious.  Their home was full of love and I caught it.  When you bring home a new baby, you bring also this unique new feeling.  It isn't the same feeling as when you had your first kiss or came home as newlyweds.  No, the love you feel when you bring home a new baby fills the air as quickly as it fills your heart the moment you first see your baby in your arms.  And unlike the love you may have for your life mate; your companion which is an intimate love that grows over time  -- baby love is instant, consistent and infectious.  You remember no time when you didn't feel this way and can think of no time when it will end.  This love radiates from new parents and when you enter a home newly welcoming home a baby -- you get it too.  I left the Campbell home and drove home to my own children; my babies that are no longer babies.  I walked through my door and felt it again.  It has been 2 years since my last child was born, but it is still there.  Love is in the air.

Keep Calm and Carry On - a fantastic motto for all new parents!

Ben + Hailey = Warm Weather. Warm Hearts. Wonderful Wedding in Fall City, WA.

Ben and Hailey hit the jackpot with one of the few beautifully warm weather days to host their wedding day.  The day was filled with goodness and the warmth of the weather didn't match the warmth from the love of their families.  The happy couple will always be surrounded and supported by love - I love large families.  But it was evident throughout their day that it wasn't just family that loved Ben and Hailey.  Their friends came from near and far to celebrate and provided so much help during the day.  I consider Ben and Hailey to be very blessed.

Ben and Hailey love the outdoors - so we took an adventurous couple portrait session down by the river in Fall City to start off their day.  It was very rocky and narrow, but I enjoyed seeing these two where they feel at home - next to water and trees basked in sunshine.  Hailey had forgotten her bouquet at the house so Ben ran off to gather wildflowers to make an impromptu bouquet for his lovely bride-to-be.  As I watched him bound from his search back to the river with wildflowers and a ripe salmonberry in his hand and a smile on his face, I saw how much he cherished his Hailey.  I imagine Hailey's heart will always be filled with wildflower bouquets and unexpected sweetness.
